The Elysian Arts 'FIRST PRINCIPLES' Collection demonstrates the idea of breaking down a complex problem by reducing it down to it's most basic truths, through a design that follows a minimalist overall appearance whilst containing detailed elements. At the heart of this design is a statue of the great philosopher Plato; Aristotle who founded the idea of First Principles was a colleague of Plato and studied under him for several years.
The First Principles Collection welcomes a further refinement to the Elysian Arts signature short with reinforced stitching on the seams that adds an even greater durability and retention of their appearance without subtracting any flexibility. The shorts in this collection incorporate a slim fit that departs from the loose extra fabric typically present in BJJ shorts. They have a concealed elasticated waste band and internal draw string for fastening to eliminate the annoyance and natural wear and tear casued by velcro openings and to maintain comfort over long periods of training.
