The FUJIN and RAIJIN collection pays homage to the Japanese weather gods of wind and lightning. Buddhist legends tell the story of Fujin and Raijin, two demons who once took up arms against Buddha. After being defeated and captured, Fujin and Raijin became the god of wind and of lightening respectively and began working for the heavens. Their story is a story of redemption and self-improvement. Despite their mischievous tendencies, they are credited for saving the land on multiple occasions with their powerful storms and typhoons.
